Man Almost Ate Python Nestled In Corn Flakes

A man making breakfast when he saw the terrifying diamond python curled in the cereal box.

Jarred Smith who was talking to Daily Mail Australia journalist gave a detailed story how everything happened, "I thought mum had bought some strange door stopper at first but then I saw a tail end of what looked like a snake and thought "no way it's a snake".

Then I peeked in the top of the cereal box and its head popped out. I dropped my food and ran out of the kitchen and screamed out to my dad downstairs "dad, there is a snake in the kitchen". When dad walked in it maneuvered even further into the box.

Jarred then called the NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service and they sent a snake handler. " he said if we put the snake in the garden the snake Will fall out of the box, so he had to trip it and the snake dropped out. He was surprised when he saw it properly because he said it actually looked about two metres long".

Diamond python are typically inoffensive by nature and generally reluctant to bite and the snake handler told Jarred that the species is harmless and only attack when aggravated.
