Will Smith's new movie "Focus" has taken over from erotic romance movie 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' at the box office, opening with $19.1 million.
According to studio estimates Sunday, Warner Bros'. "Focus" easily topped all competitors on a weekend with little competition at North American multiplexes. In Second place was the Colin Firth spy thriller 'Kingsman: The Secret Service.'
After two weeks of dominating the box office and making $486.2 million globally, "fifty Shades of Grey" went down to fourth place with an estimated $10.9 million.
Speaking on the modest box office opening of his movie "Focus ", Will Smith says he can't allow the performance of a movie to determine his self esteem ;
"I can't allow the box office success, or lack thereof, to determine my self image", he said to The Associated Press.
